 The Minnesota Gophers defeated North Dakota 5-2 to advance to the Frozen Four. Minnesota will face a tough opponent in #1 Boston College who just came off a dominant 4-0 victory over defending champs Minnesota-Duluth. Take a look at the video to watch the Gophers celebrate.

WCHA playoff bracket set, Gophers number 1 seed

The WCHA playoffs start March 8th and the Gophers will play 12th seed Alaska-Anchorage. Last years NCAA champions UMD Bulldogs earned the number 2 seed and will play 11th seed Minnesota State. Minnesota-Duluth College Hockey unanimous #1

Over the weekend the UMD Bulldogs hockey team extended it’s streak to 16 games without a loss after sweeping Western Michigan on the road. During that streak the Bulldogs are 13-0-3.
