The Minnesota Timberwolves season took a big blow before it even started when All-Star Forward Kevin Love broke his hand while working out.
The team announced that he will miss 6-8 weeks, meaning the team will begin the season with Ricky Rubio or Love. Now, it is a long season, but missing those two for presumably at least a month, could hurt the wolves if they fall in too big of a whole to start off the season.
Love and Rubio had the Wolves off to a great start last year before both eventually falling to injuries. They both had high hopes for this season, but unless some role players can get things started off right, it might be a season lost before they even step on the court.
