On Friday the Vikings completed a trade with the Arizona Cardinals to acquire cornerback A.J. Jefferson for an undisclosed draft pick. The 6’1″ 190 pound Jefferson is 24 years old and started last season as the starter opposite Patrick Peterson before being demoted half way through the year. Last season he had 66 tackles, 12 pass defections and one interception. He is signed to a one-year deal for this season. Jefferson will provide depth at cornerback on the outside for the Vikings this season.
