Gopher’s Hockey player urinates in street

University of Minnesota must be proud of their hockey team as earlier this week Erik Haula stood outside a bar after closing and urinated on the street for others to watch.

It was a classy move by the Finland native forward who was cooperative with police according to the officer who witnessed the event. Haula is a 2009 draft choice of the Minnesota Wild, and seemed last Saturday night to be just like any other 21 year old. My favorite part of this story first released by the Star Tribune was this:

[Haula] was cited for misdemeanor disorderly conduct early Saturday and then turned over to a friend, whom police described as “somewhat sober.”

Another classy move by a “professional” athlete, or at least will be pro someday.
