Tonight during the Twins game against the Royals, both teams will be wearing uniforms to honor the Negro Leagues. In the game the Twins will be sporting the uniforms of the 1909 St. Paul Gophers. The St. Paul Gophers were formed in 1907 but only lasted 4 years due to the small size of the St. Paul market at the time. Tonight is the fourth time that the team has worn the throwback Gophers uniforms, they previously wore them in 1997, 2005 and 2010. To the left you can see Carl Pavano sporting the uniform in 2010 at Progressive field. Seen below is most of the members of the Twins bullpen posing for a photo in the dugout before tonights game against the Royals and also Ben Revere before tonights game as well.
