Remember last year when Bryant McKinnie showed up last year fat (a reported 400 lbs) and out of shape leading to his eventual departure? Well, he is at it again, this time at Baltimore’s training camp. According to The Baltimore Sun, McKinnie decided to make it 2 for 2 when it comes to offseason lethargy and isn’t even practicing with the team as Baltimore has decided it is in their best interest to have McKinnie focus solely on conditioning. Rumors are already circulating that McKinnie could be at risk of losing his job yet again. Fortunately, for him, Baltimore’s lack of an adequate replacement might mean a roster spot regardless. John Harbaugh did make a statement regarding the situation saying,
“Bryant has done a good job, he’s worked hard.”
However, that sounds anything but confident. Working hard for the last 7 days means very little if he has decided to pack it in the previous 90. As a Vikings’ fan I am happy that we are done dealing with this idiot. Not only was he a skid mark on our franchise because of his off the field antics (love boat, night club, and Pro-Bowl incidents), but on the field he played like a piece of something that is known to cause the previously mentioned skid marks.

Very glad he didn’t suddenly grow up and get it together, much easier to move on knowing that he’s still a bum.

Yeah I remember thinking, “crap, i hope cutting him doesn’t wake him up and make us look like idiots.” Don’t have to worried yet.
